Happy Birthday

Today I wish you flying with sparkling wings, a chocolate bar hidden in the feathers. I hope you awoke to whisky and allsorts in unlimited abundance I wish you peace and contentment ............. but most of all I wish you were still here on earth. Nothing is as you left it, in theory you are now re-united with all your brothers and sisters (I wonder what sort of gathering that was) mother is here still in body if not completely in mind (although at times I think she rages now no more than when she was labelled of sound mind it's just there is less logic to it) and the three of us children can no more stand to be in a room together than we ever could. Yes perhaps you are in the better place, but I miss you, I miss all the intangible qualities you held, I miss your smile, I miss your strength, your humour, your warmth, I miss your love.

I know your at peace I just wish I could share some more time with you and on this your birthday I miss you more Happy Birthday Daddy Love you lots miss you more xox
