You just never know
On July 16th 1969 a small boy stood with his family at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida and watched the Apollo 11 Space mission launch. Five days later he would be back home in Pennsylvania watching TV. At that exact same moment in time I was in England huddled with my family watching TV that boy and I shared a moment in time as Apollo 11 fulfilled President Kennedy's dream of putting a man on the moon
Had someone suggested to either of those two children that day, that years later their lives would be joined, they would both probably have declared the utterer crazy and state there was probably more chance of one of them being on the moon!
This conjoined moment in our childhoods has been recently revealed by the discovery that the sweat shirt that was bought as a souvenir and then lived in by said awestruck boy was kept all these years unbeknown to him by his mother or father and has been found now as their house is cleared. It is so very strange how life's threads weave and fray, the only certainty is we have no way of knowing which way they will lead next .............. and now what to do with a very old, very worn, very loved, husband, ooops I mean sweat shirt.

Please don't think that ther are no others who enjoy reading you here because that is not the case at all.
Keep it up sis please. I may only be sporadic but I do come and go and when I am talking with someone that we both know, or someone who knows that I have a sister 'over there', then we always end up here.
I'll be back more often I promise! xxx
